Bingo is one of the easiest games to understand yet incredibly exciting at the same time. It requires no special skills or complicated strategies — you simply match the numbers on your card with the numbers called, and if all the numbers in your row come up, you win. It's that simple.
In Malaysia, bingo holds a special place because it's not just about winning or losing. It's about the experience of playing together as a community — even online, the lively atmosphere of a physical bingo hall still comes through. The v98 platform captures that spirit by offering bingo rooms equipped with chat features, progressive jackpots, and a variety of game modes that keep every session feeling fresh and different.
Many assume bingo is just one game — but there are several variations, each with its own character and appeal. v98 offers enough variety to satisfy all kinds of players.
If this is your first time trying online bingo, don't worry. The process is straightforward and you'll get the hang of it within minutes. Here's how to play bingo at v98:
First, log in to your v98 account or register a new one if you're a new player. Once in, navigate to the Bingo section in the main menu. There you'll see a list of active bingo rooms along with details on card prices, prize sizes and the number of players in each room.
Pick a room that suits you — the Beginner Room is the best starting point as it's free and lets you get familiar with the platform without any financial risk. Once inside, buy as many bingo cards as you like. The more cards you hold, the higher your chances of winning, but always stay within your budget.
Once the game starts, numbers are called automatically and the v98 system will mark them on your cards automatically too — no need to worry about missing any number. When you complete the required pattern (one line, two lines, or full house depending on the room), the system will automatically declare you the winner.
Bingo is a game that relies heavily on luck, but there are some practical approaches that can help you maximise your playing experience at v98.
The first strategy is to choose your playing time wisely. Rooms with fewer players mean less competition and better odds for each card you hold. Try playing during less popular hours such as early morning or midday on weekdays.
The second strategy is to play with more cards. The math is straightforward — if there are 100 cards in a match and you hold 10 of them, your odds are 10%. Just don't take on so many cards that you can't comfortably keep up with the match.
One thing that sets bingo apart from other casino games is its social element. At v98, every bingo room comes with a real-time chat feature that lets players interact with each other throughout the match.
Malaysian players at v98 regularly use the chat to celebrate wins together, share tips or simply catch up. Some have gotten to know each other from months of playing side by side. This is more than just a game — it's a community.
V98 also hosts special bingo tournaments for festive seasons such as Hari Raya, Chinese New Year, and National Day, complete with exclusive prizes and themed rooms that bring the festive spirit online.
V98 uses a Random Number Generator (RNG) that has been independently verified and audited to ensure every number called in bingo is truly random and fair. No one — including v98 — can predict or manipulate the numbers drawn.
All transactions in the bingo game are protected with the same 256-bit SSL encryption used by major banks. Deposits and withdrawals are processed quickly through local payment methods you're already familiar with, such as DuitNow, FPX and popular Malaysia e-wallets.
